UCLouvain invites applications for an academic position in Software Engineering and Programming Systems. You will teach courses in software engineering, programming paradigms and languages, supervise Master’s theses, and develop research programs at ICTEAM on the Charleroi site.

You are expected to publish in internationally recognized venues, secure funding, and contribute to the university's international visibility. Fluency in French and English is preferred; other languages are an asset.

Qualifications

• PhD degree with extended stay or substantial experience abroad.
• University teaching experience with evidence from evaluations.
• Publications in international venues.

Responsabilités

• Teach software engineering, programming systems, paradigms and languages.
• Supervise Master’s theses.
• Lead research programmes in software science and related themes.
• Contribute to service activities within the faculty and ICTEAM.
