Verhaert On-Site Consulting seeks a Lead Mechatronics & CAD Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering activities.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SolidWorks. Working primarily from client sites in Belgium, the position offers a permanent contract with benefits including a competitive salary, company car, and meal vouchers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product development, machine design or industrial equipment engineering.
• Strong experience with CAD design, preferably SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of DfMA principles and industrialization processes.
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Leading the design and development of electro‑mechanical products and subsystems.
• Driving Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) initiatives.
• Supporting industrialization and production ramp‑up activities.
• Coaching and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
