Forvis Mazars is seeking a Junior VAT Consultant to join our team in Brussels, Louvain-la-Neuve or Ghent. You will handle VAT compliance for corporate clients and contribute to a multidisciplinary tax advisory team.

Qualifications

• Degree in law, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in VAT.
• Fluent English and French; Dutch is an asset.
• Ambitious team player eager to become a tax expert.

Responsabilités

• Provide VAT compliance services to corporate clients.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, EC sales listings and Intrastat returns.
• Advise and assist clients in a broad range of VAT-related matters.
• Review tax assessments and assist clients during tax audits.
• Assist in internal and external meetings.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team of experts.

As a Junior VAT Consultant, you will join our team in our office in Brussels, Louvain-la-Neuve or Ghent.

Your Responsibilities

• You provide VAT compliance services to corporate clients.
• You prepare and review VAT returns, EC sales listings and Intrastat returns.
• You advise and assist our clients in a broad range of VAT-related matters.
• You review tax assessments and assist clients during tax audits.
• You assist in internal and external meetings.
• You work in a multidisciplinary team of experts.
  
  

Your Profile

• You have obtained a degree in law, accounting, economics, or any related field;
• You have between 0 and 2 years of experience in VAT;
• You have fluent communication skills in English and French (Dutch is an asset);
• You like to dive into complex matter, and you dream of becoming an expert in the tax area;
• You are an excellent and ambitious team player.
