Puratos in Groot-Bijgaarden is seeking a Junior Production Planner to balance demand with production capacity across lines. You translate customer demands into optimized schedules, ensuring on-time delivery while controlling costs and respecting constraints.

You will collaborate with production, supply chain and customer service, monitor changes, manage backorders, and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes. Fluent English and good Dutch/French are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in supply chain, logistics or related field.
• First experience in production planning or supply chain is a plus.
• Analytical, data-driven, and able to translate complexity into actions.
• Dynamic, adaptable under pressure, with strong communication.
• Team player with proactive mindset and stakeholder management.
• Good knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP/planning systems (SAP APO a plus).
• Fluent in English and good working knowledge of Dutch and French.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain weekly and daily production plans for lines to ensure timely delivery and efficiency.
• Analyze orders, material availability and capacity to create feasible schedules.
• Monitor and adjust plans to manage changes, disruptions and priorities.
• Collaborate with production, customer service, procurement and warehouse teams for alignment.
• Manage backorders, delays and risks with clear justifications and solutions.
• Ensure accuracy of planning data and systems (ERP/APO/MES) and improve master data quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes.
