SQUARE CITY in Genk, Belgium, is seeking a focused business controller to join a growing logistics-focused organization. The role involves supervising accounting activities, VAT returns, annual accounts, and monthly management reporting, with opportunities for professional growth in a modern work environment.

You will collaborate with leadership on annual budgets, drive process improvements and automation, and coordinate payroll and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Supervise accounting activities including invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare VAT returns and closures within deadlines.
• Prepare annual accounts and corporate tax.
• Oversee monthly management reporting and discuss analyses with GM.
• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting activities and ensure accurate processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare VAT returns and year-end closures within deadlines.
• Execute various bookings and compile annual accounts and corporate tax returns.
• Deliver monthly management reporting and review analyses with the General Manager.
• Develop annual budgets in close collaboration with leaders.
• Analyze and implement process improvements and automation.
• Coordinate payroll with HR and the payroll secretary.
• Support financial projects and hands-on administrative tasks for the business.

• Je superviseert de boekhoudkundige activiteiten en zorgt voor correcte verwerking van facturen en aankooporders.
• Je stelt btw-aangiftes en afsluitingen op en controleert deze binnen de gestelde deadlines.
• Je voert diverse boekingen uit en maakt de jaarrekening en vennootschapsbelasting op.
• Je verzorgt de maandelijkse managementrapportering en bespreekt analyses met de General Manager.
• Je stelt jaarbestedingen en budgetten op in nauwe samenwerking met de leidinggevenden.
• Je analyseert en implementeert procesverbeteringen, automatisering en optimalisaties.
• Je onderhoudt contacten met externe partijen zoals fiscale instanties, auditors en kredietverstrekkers.
• Je coördineert de personeelsadministratie in samenwerking met HR en het sociaal secretariaat.
• Je ondersteunt bij financiële projecten en voert hands-on administratieve taken uit voor de business.
• Je volgt de verzekeringsportefeuille, schadedossiers, wagenparkbeheer en fietsleasing nauwgezet op.
