Equans seeks a consultant to define and implement decarbonization strategies at client sites across Belgium. You will work on energy, HVAC, electricity, and data to improve site performance, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strict safety standards.

You will evolve into a technical expert for your team and clients, managing projects daily and ensuring contractual compliance. Teleworking is available as part of a hybrid approach in a Belgian context.

Description du poste

Play a concrete role in defining and implementing decarbonization strategies for buildings and industries in Belgium. At Carbon Shift, you will join a team of consultants and work on real-world projects combining energy, HVAC, electricity, and data to improve site performance. You will work on-site with clients and actively contribute to their energy transition with pragmatic and measurable solutions.

Your mission takes place at your clients’ sites throughout Belgium.
The Equans site to which you are attached is either Nivelles or Grimbergen.

• advising and supporting clients in defining, planning and implementing energy transition and decarbonization strategies
• evolve into a role of technical expert for your team and your clients
• managing projects on a daily basis and monitoring their budget
• ensure compliance with contractual requirements and safety instructions
• collaborate with Equans’ project and maintenance teams to develop integrated data monitoring and energy performance solutions
• develop innovative data-driven solutions to improve the energy performance and sustainability of sites
• Represent Carbon Shift Consulting at events, workshops and client benchmarks
• contribute to the design and development of integrated consulting and service offerings (EPC, monitoring, digital services, carbon financing)
• to manage and monitor the financial aspects of consulting projects

Come as you are, ideally with:

• civil or industrial engineering degree
• Knowledge of HVAC, energy and/or decarbonization, ideally gained in a multi-technical engineering firm.
• understanding of the energy sector, climate change and sustainable development
• Experience in project management and organization with respect for deadlines
• proficiency with data approaches and energy analysis
• clear and structured communication, responsiveness, proactivity and sales skills
• attention to safety, quality, customer service, team spirit and knowledge sharing
• fluency in French and Dutch
