Keystone Solutions in Belgium seeks a motivated Junior Functional Security Analyst to join a client-site consultancy team addressing application security challenges. You will work with developers, architects, and cybersecurity specialists to improve secure software development.

The ideal candidate has a degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or information systems, or equivalent training, with a keen interest in security and basic knowledge of OWASP/NIST.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge.
• Interest in application security and secure software development.
• Basic understanding of Agile or DevOps.
• Able to translate technical topics into clear requirements and documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication; comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Support the preparation of functional and technical specifications related to application security.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).
• Work with development teams to integrate security controls throughout the application lifecycle.
• Help verify compliance with security standards, internal policies, and regulations.
• Keep up to date with vulnerabilities, threats, and application security practices.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives for internal teams.
• Assist with preparation, coordination, and follow‑up of application security testing.
• Monitor software vulnerabilities and help identify risks to applications.
• Review vulnerability reports and communicate security risks to stakeholders.
• Document findings and communicate risks clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
