Recruitment Solutions in Belgium is seeking a Financial Management Controller to join our client’s Banking and Finance Services team. You will advise, discuss and challenge financial targets with Business Management and drive efficiency through in-depth analysis.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years in business consultancy on complex banking projects, with fluent Dutch and French (English a plus).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in business consultancy on complex projects in Banking & Financial Services.
• Fluent in Dutch and French; English is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, listening and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Advise, discuss and challenge financial impacts and business results with Business Management.
• Pursue financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge.
• Build business plans and identify gaps, opportunities for efficiency optimization.
• Support the preparation of monthly and yearly accounts and ensure compliance of Business Finance processes.

• Maintain daily contacts with Operational Entity Management.

Your tasks

• You advise, discuss and challenge financial impacts and business results with Business Management
• You pursue financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge
• You build business plans and define ways to identify gaps, opportunities looking for efficiency optimization
• You support the preparation of monthly and yearly accounts and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems
• You complete financial analysis, identify and manage financial risk
• You have daily contacts with Operational Entity Management

Your profile

• You possess a Master’s degree; Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent
• You have at least 5+ years work experience in Business Consultancy on complex projects in Banking & Financial Services sector
• You speak Dutch andFrench fluently English is an asset
• You are able to make accurate and relevant financial analysis, assessments and judgments
• You possess strong communication, listening and negotiation skills
• You have an excellent analytical mindset & high motivation
