Sopra Steria in Belgium is seeking a Java-focused software developer to contribute to end-to-end digital projects. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, cloud provisioning, and modern DevOps practices in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

Job Description

Java fluency means you can develop, test and maintain any application that’s written in Java. It means your Java code is clean and efficient and you can assist cross-departmental teams with your interpersonal fluency to deliver high-quality software solutions. You’ll use Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate, and tools like Maven to navigate databases, version control systems (like Git), and innovative methodologies with agility. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements mean you’ll have no trouble debugging and resolving issues in your day-to-day work, or adapting to the requirements of the cutting edge projects Sopra Steria delivers.

The sky’s the limit with cloud computing, so you’ll need to use skills of virtualisation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools like Kubernetes and Docker to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
