Bank Degroof Petercam SA in Brussels is seeking an IT & Data Science Auditor to join the Internal Audit team. You will contribute to the full audit lifecycle, delivering assurance on IT, data and control topics, and help translate technical analysis into clear findings for management.

The role involves applying data analytics, testing ITGCs, access and change controls, and supporting data-driven audit approaches.

Qualifications

• Institutional master degree in IT, computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, audit or related field.
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience in IT audit or data analytics.
• Strong interest in IT audit, internal control, data analytics and financial sector.
• Good analytical skills with practical data analysis tooling or programming languages such as Python, SQL or Power BI.
• Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data management and standards (COBIT, ISO 27000, DORA, NIST) is advantageous.
• Certifications like CISA, CIA, CISSP or data analytics certificates are a plus but not required.
• Curious, rigorous, eager to learn and capable of communicating complex analysis clearly.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Identify, assess and document IT, data and operational risks within the audit scope.
• Perform audit testing on IT general controls, application controls, access and change management, data quality and security controls.
• Support use of data analytics and data science techniques for audit work.
• Draft concise audit findings and recommendations in English for management.
• Follow up on recommendations and assess implementation quality and residual risks.
• Develop data-driven audit approaches and practical analytics use cases within Internal Audit.
• Occasionally travel (less than 15%) to other Indosuez entities as defined in the plan.

As an IT & Data Science Auditor, you will join a collaborative audit team and progressively develop your expertise in IT audit, data analytics and technology-related risk management within a professional and supportive environment.

Degroof Petercam is part of Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management brand of the Crédit Agricole Group. In this broader group environment, you will work with the Degroof Petercam internal audit team and, where relevant, interact with the wider Indosuez internal audit community. This offers exposure to local and cross-border audit assignments, with opportunities to learn from experienced auditors and contribute to audits covering IT, data, digital transformation, cybersecurity, outsourcing and operational resilience topics.

Degroof Petercam is looking to strenghten its Internal Auidit Team with an IT & Data Science Auditor.

Your position

• As a member of the audit team, you will contribute to the full audit mission lifecycle, helping to deliver assurance and practical insight on IT, data and control topics:

Support the identification, assessment and documentation of IT, data and operational risks within the agreed audit scope

Perform audit testing on IT general controls, application controls, access management, change management, data quality, data lineage and security-related controls

Support the usage of data analytics and data science techniques to support audit work

Contribute to interviews with auditees and help prepare clear working papers, audit observations and supporting evidence

Assist in drafting concise audit findings and recommendations in English, translating technical analysis into understandable messages for business and management stakeholders

Follow up on recommendations and action plans, supporting the assessment of implementation quality and residual risks

Contribute to the continuous development of data-driven audit approaches, automation opportunities and practical analytics use cases within Internal Audit

Following the IT Audit plan and the scope defined in the mission, some Business trips (less than 15%) can be required to other Indosuez entities (France, Monaco, Switzerland, Luxembourg)

Your profile

• You have a master degree in IT, computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, audit or a related field
• You have up to 5 years of relevant experience
• You have a strong interest in IT audit, internal control, data analytics and the financial sector, and you are motivated to develop your audit methodology and risk management skills
• You have good analytical skills and a practical understanding of data analysis tools or programming languages such as Python, SQL, Power BI or similar technologies
• Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data management, COBIT, ISO 27000, DORA or NIST is considered an asset
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP or data analytics certificates are an asset, but not a prerequisite
• You are curious, rigorous and eager to learn, with the ability to structure information, challenge constructively and translate analysis into clear conclusions
• You communicate clearly, enjoy working with people and can collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You are fluent in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset
