Qareeb is seeking a Network Programming Engineer to design and implement custom communication protocols for IoT devices and edge systems. You will work on OSI/TCP-IP stacks, low-level packet handling, and secure data transport across unreliable networks.

The role involves building efficient networking modules for embedded firmware (ESP32/STM32) and C++ applications, plus protocol documentation and collaboration with security engineers to resist DoS, replay, and spoofing.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, and socket programming.
• Experience designing transport layer with reliability and congestion control.
• Knowledge of routing algorithms and NAT traversal.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for systems programming on Linux/Windows/Embedded Systems.
• Familiarity with packet processing frameworks and security concepts.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement custom lightweight communication protocols.
• Develop low-level networking modules (sockets, raw packets, custom headers).
• Ensure robust error handling, retransmission, and congestion control.
• Implement secure communication (TLS, DTLS, mutual authentication).
• Optimize latency and throughput across constrained networks.
• Perform packet analysis with Wireshark/tcpdump for debugging.
• Integrate networking modules into embedded firmware (ESP32/STM32) and C++ apps.
• Write protocol specifications and internal/external documentation.
• Collaborate with security engineers to ensure cybersecurity resilience.
• Conduct penetration testing, fuzzing, and fault injection for networking components.
