Unique Pelt in Belgium is seeking a procurement lead to drive the purchasing of raw materials, production supplies, and subcontracting works for international projects.

You will analyse markets, negotiate with suppliers, place orders, monitor fulfillment, while continuously improving procurement procedures and building strong supplier relationships, reporting directly to the executive committee, and contributing to strategic sourcing decisions.

Responsabilités

• You manage the purchase of raw materials, production inputs and subcontracting works.
• You perform market analyses, negotiate with suppliers, place orders and track them.
• You apply and further optimize existing procurement procedures.
• You build a sustainable procurement culture by close collaboration with different departments.
• You participate in decisions around capital expenditures.
• You maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop contacts with new partners.
• You report directly to the board of directors.

Jouw takenpakket:

• Je beheert de aankoop van grondstoffen, productiebenodigdheden en onderaannemingswerken.
• Je voert marktanalyses uit, onderhandelt met leveranciers, plaatst bestellingen en volgt deze op.
• Je past bestaande aankoopprocedures toe en optimaliseert deze verder.
• Je bouwt een duurzame aankoopcultuur op door nauw samen te werken met verschillende afdelingen.
• Je neemt deel aan beslissingen rond investeringsgoederen.
• Je onderhoudt sterke relaties met bestaande leveranciers en ontwikkelt contacten met nieuwe partners.
• Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan het directiecomité.
