PrediQT Technologies in Brussels, Belgium, is seeking a numerical software specialist or computational scientist to join the R&D team developing a new scale-resolved, GPU-native simulation technology for weather forecasting. You will contribute to the design, implementation and validation of a high-fidelity code, extending solver numerics toward weather and climate applications with rigorous validation.

This is an early-stage deep-tech environment offering opportunities to work at the frontier

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in related field (CS, math, engineering, meteorology) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of numerical weather prediction codes (WRF or similar).
• Experience with GPU-native scientific computing.
• Hands-on programming in C, C++, CUDA and Python.
• Experience with GPU architecture and performance optimization.

Responsabilités

• Extend solver numerics toward weather forecasting and climate-related applications.
• Design and implement a new GPU-native, performance-critical scientific code.
• Work with numerical weather prediction workflows, e.g. WRF or similar.
• Test and validate developments on weather benchmarks and experiments.
• Contribute to technical documentation and conference publications in CFD and NWP.
