Ascom in Belgium seeks a Solutions Architect to translate customer requirements into a global architecture and blueprint for deployment across Care, Cure, and Enterprise segments.

You will guide Sales, Product Management, Segment Experts, and deployment teams throughout the solution life cycle, ensuring standard design tooling and effective governance. English proficiency and 2+ years in system integration deployments are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in system integration deployments.
• Experience with medical software installation and configuration.
• Strong, confident customer-facing consulting skills.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Assist Product Managers and Segment Experts in design, scope and governance of multi-product solutions.
• Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology and configuration standards.
• Analyze requirements and design solutions addressing customer business scenarios.
• Write solution-oriented documentation for internal and external use.
• Produce a technical specification for custom development and integrations.
• Provide best practice and third-party solution alternatives as part of the design document.
• Analyze and resolve problems and implement lasting solutions.
• Oversee product life cycle from kickoff to exit phases within the solution area.
• Coordinate with sales and customer implementation teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Analyze customer site requirements to propose solutions from the Ascom portfolio.

The essence of the Solutions Architect role is the conversion of particular requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being deployed globally.

The Solution Architect is expected to provide motivation and guidance to the Sales, Product Management, Segment Experts, Local Development, Professional Service and Customer Care teams during the solution life cycle of the solutions that we offer in our segments Care, Cure and Enterprise.

The Solution Architect plays an important role in ensuring that the solution architecture has standard design tooling.

What are you going to do?

The Solutions Architect is primarily employed to help Product Managers and Segment Experts in the design, scope and governance of the total solutions usually containing several product lines and 3rd party products.

• Provide input into future solution functionality, implementation methodology and configuration standards.

• Analyze requirements and design solutions to address customer business scenarios within the product scope.

• Write solution-oriented documentation for internal and external use

• Produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements

• Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document

• Analysis and resolution of problems, and implementing proper solutions to reduce future issues

• Oversee aspects of product life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design, implementation and exit phases for products within the solution area

• Communication effectively between different teams including technical and nontechnical groups. Ability to do complete and thorough analysis of complex problems, design an effective solution and implement that solution.

• Coordinate and collaborate with sales and customer implementation team and Ascom deployment teams to ensure a successful and referenceable delivery.

• Analyze customer site analysis and process requirements as a basis to propose solutions from the Ascom portfolio.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar experience.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with involvement in system integration deployments in domain

• Experience with medical software installation and configuration

• Strong and confident customer-facing consulting skills.
