Arbalett in Heuvelland, Belgium, is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer (EN/NL) to design, configure, implement and maintain network solutions for enterprise applications and production systems.

The role involves managing security across a global network, collaborating with MSPs and international IT teams, and staying at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, wireless, VoIP, MPLS.
• Experience with network security equipment (Juniper, Aruba/HPE, Palo Alto).
• Proficiency with network management tools (Juniper MIST AI, Aruba Central, ClearPass, Apstra, Panorama, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with international network environments and hybrid cloud (SD-WAN, SASE, Azure, AWS).
• Good ITSM, server platforms (Microsoft/Linux), and security principles.
• Professional English and Dutch proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, configure, and optimise wired and Wi-Fi networks per architecture standards.
• Participate in network design for datacenters, production environments, security, and cloud access.
• Monitor network performance and detect incidents or anomalies.
• Analyse and resolve network incidents to ensure service performance, availability, and continuity.
• Track incidents through a centralised ticketing system.
• Collaborate with MSPs, vendors, and international IT teams for deployment, testing, and maintenance of new network services.
