SHAPE, located in Mons, Belgium, seeks a data professional to manage geospatial data and develop robust data schemas. The role requires experience with geo-located data, geospatial analytics, and governance to enable data-centric operations across NATO COIs.

The incumbent will work in a fast-paced international environment, collaborating with data owners and operations to ensure interoperable geospatial data and compliant standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with geo-located data and wider data science and analytics.
• Knowledge of data management with regards to geospatial data.
• Experience with data modelling, schemas and governance in a geospatial context.

Responsabilités

• Data management and metadata management across NATO COIs.
• Assess location-based information data architecture and develop detailed data schemas.
• Manage data on exchange platforms such as PANGEA and related systems.
• Develop coherent data schemas and data models for geospatial use cases.
• Facilitate data interoperability among data owners and NATO standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders across SHAPE and the Alliance.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
