Amaris Consulting is seeking a dynamic Fullstack Java/Angular Developer to join our Brussels team under the VIE program. You will work on banking, insurance, public, or energy projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile, international setting.

You will design, develop, and deploy web applications using Java (Spring Boot) for backend and Angular for frontend, while participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Academic or initial professional experience in fullstack development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (v8+).
• Understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and web app architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
• Eligible for the VIE program (EU citizen <29).

Responsabilités

• Participate in design, development, and deployment of web apps using Java Spring Boot backend and Angular frontend.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications with clean, scalable, and secure code.

Job Description

Amaris Consulting, part of the Mantu Group, is looking for a dynamic and motivated Fullstack Java/Angular Developer to join our team in Brussels under the VIE program. You will work on exciting development projects within banking, insurance, public or energy sector environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an agile and international setting.

• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of web applications using Java (Spring Boot) for backend and Angular for frontend.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other developers to understand and implement functional requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications with clean, scalable, and secure code.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Perform unit testing and contribute to integration and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Agile development processes.

Your Profile

• You hold a master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have academic or initial professional experience in fullstack development.
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (version 8+ preferred).
• Understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and web application architecture.
• Experience or interest in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) – mandatory.
• Eligible for the VIE program (European citizen under 29 years old, never worked in Belgium under an employment contract).
