Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / React)

Do you want to help build a SaaS platform used daily by 1,200 veterinary practices? And at the same time work on a solid technological renewal? Then you're in the right place.

At Sonetas, we develop Fuga: our platform that has been the backbone of veterinary practices for years, while fully evolving toward a modern stack with Java, Spring Boot and React. The existing application is built in Java and is now being systematically renewed from within. The first new components are already running alongside the older parts today. No greenfield, no big bang, just thoughtful, continuous modernization with direct impact.

There's also myPets, our platform and app for pet owners, fully integrated with Fuga.

We're growing rapidly in the Netherlands, starting up in a new country, and investing heavily in our further expansion. We use AI to work more efficiently and are exploring how to leverage our data to provide insights for the veterinary sector.

We're looking for people with a passion for both front-end and back-end. But above all: engineers who like to understand the full picture and build a strong product together.

What will you do?

• Contribute to the modernization of Fuga toward Java / Spring Boot / React
• Work on our back-end systems to give our customers the ability to act quickly without depending on us
• Maintenance and optimization of the existing Java application
• Build new modules that are immediately integrated into the current platform
• Develop features for veterinarians and pet owners (myPets)
• Think along about architecture, quality, performance, and user-friendliness
• Collaborate in an agile team with plenty of room for initiative
