Seety in Brussels is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build scalable mobility solutions across web, mobile and back-end stacks.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with product and tech teams to tackle geospatial, mapping and performance challenges, using React, React Native and Node.js on Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and Node.js.
• Experience with React Native or strong mobile interest.
• Experience with Kubernetes and server deployment.
• Comfortable designing reliable APIs and ownership of full development cycle.
• Interest in mapping/geospatial data and mobility.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch a plus.

Seety is a fast-growing Belgian mobility scale-up with a clear mission: to make parking and urban mobility simpler, smarter and more accessible. We are building a single solution that allows drivers to understand, compare and pay for all their mobility expenses from parking and fuel to EV charging and other mobility services. Our application is already used by more than 1.3 million Seetyzens across Europe, and this is just the beginning. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to help us build reliable and scalable products and bring the next generation of Seety's mobility services to life.

Your mission

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will work across our web, mobile and back-end applications using React, React Native and Node.js. You will also contribute to our server infrastructure and the deployment of our applications on Kubernetes. You will take ownership of features from technical design to production, working closely with our product and technical teams to turn complex mobility challenges into intuitive and reliable solutions used every day by our community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining features across our web, mobile and back-end applications.
• Building intuitive user experiences with React and React Native.
• Developing reliable and scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js.
• Designing efficient algorithms to process, analyse and display mapping and mobility data.
• Contributing to mapping-related features and solving complex geospatial problems.
• Taking ownership of the complete development cycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Deploying, maintaining and improving applications using Kubernetes and our server infrastructure.
• Working closely with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and the continuous improvement of our technical stack.
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Reviewing code and sharing knowledge and best practices with the rest of the team.
• Monitoring and improving the performance, reliability and security of our applications.
• Identifying technical challenges and proactively proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Helping adapt to the new technical needs and challenges such as the Agentic paradigms.
• Helping improve our development processes, tools and ways of working.

Your profile

• You have at least five years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• You have strong experience with React and Node.js.
• You have experience with React Native or a strong interest in mobile application development.
• You have practical experience with Kubernetes and managing or deploying applications on servers.
• You are comfortable working across front-end and back-end systems and taking ownership of features from start to finish.
• You understand how to design and integrate reliable APIs.
• You have strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills and enjoy finding efficient solutions to complex technical challenges.
• You have experience or a strong interest in mapping, geospatial data or location-based applications.
• You are comfortable with AI dev tools such as Coding and Testing agents.
• You care about code quality, testing, performance and maintainability.
• You can balance technical quality with pragmatic business priorities.
• You are analytical, solution-oriented and proactive.
• You work autonomously, take ownership and communicate openly when you identify a challenge.
• You enjoy collaborating with product and technical colleagues and sharing your knowledge.
• You are fluent in English. French and/or Dutch is a plus.
• You have a strong interest in mobility, smart cities and technology.

Experience with mapping technologies, GIS, geospatial databases, spatial algorithms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, application monitoring or high-volume transactional platforms is a strong plus.
