AXA in Brussels is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the IT department focused on the Commercial Lines transformation. You will contribute to the Angular frontend, collaborate with epic managers, architects and engineers, and ensure high-quality, well-documented code.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, autonomy, and effective communication within a hybrid work model in the center of Brussels. Fluency in English and another national language is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in complex technical or functional environments is a plus.
• Experience in banking or insurance domains is a plus.
• Fluent in English and at least one other national language (Dutch/French).
• Front-End Skills (Angular) including Angular framework, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, responsive design.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Epic Manager, Solution Architect, Requirement Engineers, System Analysts, Developers and BAs.
• Write clean, well-documented code; respect coding standards; conduct code reviews.
• Communicate progress, risks, and timelines to IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Work within a large team, share knowledge, adapt to dependencies and workflows.
• Proactively identify issues and propose solutions.
• Work autonomously with time management and quality delivery.
