You will provide architectural governance across delivery teams, drive modernization, manage technical debt, and champion AI-enabled development practices while ensuring performance and scalability of enterprise web applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Technical Architect or Solution Architect in a complex enterprise.
• 3+ years with Angular and modern front-end development practices.
• 3+ years with .NET and .NET Core ecosystems.
• 3+ years of Web Security standards and secure development practices.
• 3+ years of Authentication/Authorization standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance to multiple delivery teams to ensure solution consistency.
• Manage the technology lifecycle and drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and upgrade core platforms.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into sustainable technical architectures and documentation.
• Lead the adoption of emerging technologies, specifically focusing on AI and innovation within development practices.
• Conduct technology evaluations, impact assessments, and performance optimization for enterprise-grade web applications.
• Coach and mentor developers to enhance the team’s technical skills and foster a community of practice.

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for a Front End Technical Architect to define their technical vision and development standards. This role focuses on driving architectural maturity, supporting delivery teams, and industrializing web solutions while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Define and promote front-end development standards, architecture guidelines, and reusable frameworks across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance to multiple delivery teams to ensure solution consistency.
• Manage the technology lifecycle and drive initiatives to reduce technical debt and upgrade core platforms.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into sustainable technical architectures and documentation.
• Lead the adoption of emerging technologies, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence and innovation within development practices.
• Conduct technology evaluations, impact assessments, and performance optimization for enterprise-grade web applications.

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect within a complex enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of expert-level knowledge in Angular and modern front-end development practices.
• 3+ years of experience with .NET and .NET Core ecosystems.
• 3+ years of experience in Web Security standards and secure development practices.
• 3+ years of experience with Authentication and Authorization standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• You possess a strong background in designing enterprise-grade web applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• You bring the ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation and technical implementation guidelines.
• You're an experienced technical leader with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical decisions to governance boards.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch or French, with at least basic knowledge of the other.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or GenAI solutions.
• Knowledge of Design Systems and UI component libraries.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Experience working within an Architecture Board or similar corporate governance body.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
