Altia in Brussels is seeking a Front-end Software Engineer to join an international project for a major European organization working on EU funds management. You will develop and maintain modular client-side apps using modern frameworks and Web Components, ensuring security and responsive interfaces.

The role covers development, integration, testing, debugging and maintenance, with a focus on CI/CD and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• EQF Level 6 qualification and minimum 7 years IT experience.
• English level B2 or higher, spoken and written.
• 7 years with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• 7 years in Web Security and OAuth/OpenID Connect.
• 7 years with Git, JIRA and Confluence in software teams.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience delivering responsive user interfaces and CI/CD integration.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to join an international project for a major European organization, working on digital solutions related to the Shared Management of European Union Funds.

You will work supporting and evolving digital solutions used for the management of EU Funds, including systems such as SFC.

The role will involve the development and maintenance of complex, modular client-side applications, using modern frontend frameworks, Web Components and state management solutions.

You will participate in activities such as frontend development, integration, testing, debugging, maintenance, web application security and the implementation of responsive user interfaces.

MUST have for this challenge

• EQF Level 6 qualification – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – and minimum 7 years of professional IT experience.
• English level B2 or higher, spoken and written.
• 7 years of experience with at least one modern frontend framework, such as: React I Vue.js I Angular
• 7 years of experience in Web Security, authentication and authorization protocols, particularly: OAuth or OpenID Connect
• 7 years of experience working with Git, JIRA and Confluence in software development environments.
• Experience with JavaScript and ES6.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience developing responsive user interfaces.
• Experience in testing, debugging and maintaining frontend code.Experience integrating frontend applications into CI/CD pipelines.
