Teamleader CRM in Belgium is seeking a Forward Deployed Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions within our AI Labs, focusing on APIs, scripts, auth flows, Claude skills, MCP, and internal apps to turn ideas into reliable automations.

You’ll own the last mile, turn recurring blockers into reusable components, document workflows, and empower teams to run and adapt what you build, with clear ownership, usage metrics, and cost considerations in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI workflows and automation.
• Proficient in API integration and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of authentication flows and authorization models.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL; experience with LLM tooling is a plus.

We Are Looking for a Forward Deployed Automation Engineer to join us

As a Forward Deployed Automation Engineer at Teamleader, you will:

• Co-build in our AI Labs: turn team-identified use cases into working automations (Claude skills & MCP, APIs, scripts, webhooks, internal apps).

• Own the last mile that blocks teams today: auth & permissions, token management, MCP/connector setup, hosting and scheduling — so automations run reliably without you babysitting them.

• Solve patterns, not tickets: recurring blockers become reusable, documented building blocks on our shared AI platform (MCP gateway, agent hosting, context layer).

• Tie every automation to the team's success metric: each build ships with an owner, a usage/adoption measure, and a cost dimension.

• Leave teams self-sufficient: document, hand over, and teach the team to run and adapt what you built together. We are an internal partner, not a solution factory.

• Have real hands-on experience with AI

• Are a builder-generalist: experienced working with APIs, scripting (Python/JS/Apps Script), auth flows, lightweight front-end development, databases, SQL, LLM tooling.
