EY is seeking a Finance & Accounting Professional to grow into a trusted advisor for diverse clients, from family‑owned businesses to multinationals. You will handle accounting, compliance, and reporting tasks, while developing skills in business advisory, mentorship, and client development.

You will join a team that values curiosity, analytical thinking, and results‑orientation, with flexible working arrangements and training opportunities to advance toward chartered accountant status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a financial or economic orientation.
• At least 6 years of experience in accountancy and taxation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and/or French; fluent in English.
• You are a team player, critical, innovative and curious.
• You are client‑ and results‑oriented.
• You are tech‑savvy; experience with Exact Online and ERP systems is a bonus.
• Willing to follow internal/external trainings; becoming a chartered accountant (ITAA) is an option.

Responsabilités

• Accounting & compliance: assist clients in financial (digital) processes including year‑end closings, audit support, financial statements and VAT/corporate tax returns.
• Reporting: work on management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health & competitor analyses and other projects.
• Temporary assignments: assist in general accounting, credit control, internal optimisation projects.
• People management: coach and develop junior team members and foster a learning culture.
• Business development: help identify opportunities and contribute to proposals for EY.
