Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Belgium to install, configure and maintain security systems on client sites, primarily in the Liege area. You will collaborate with subcontractors, configure building and camera management software, and ensure network infrastructure readiness to keep facilities safe and productive.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, fluent French and good English, and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Perform maintenance and commissioning of new security systems, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and testing, possibly in collaboration with one or more subcontractors.
• Program and configure building and camera management software based on customer specifications, ensuring optimal functionality and integration with existing systems.
• Implement new network infrastructures, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform regular maintenance of network infrastructure, diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
• Set up and configure server and workstation infrastructures, including hardware installation, operating system deployment, and software configuration based on business requirements.
• Ensure the maintenance, organization, and proper cabling of computer racks and workstations, verifying compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Basic knowledge of system virtualization is required; experience with DELL, Broadcom, or similar technologies is a plus.
• You will report to the Field Service Leader.

Key Skills And Qualifications

• You can work both in a team and independently.
• You are customer-oriented and have good communication skills.
• Knowledge of French is required; a good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Experience in the security sector.
• Ideally, you will live in the Liege area.
• Driving license B.
