ABB is seeking a Field Service Engineer Electrification to maintain, troubleshoot, and commission low- and medium-voltage installations at industrial sites in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will work largely on-site, ensuring safety and reliability while collaborating with service teams.

You will handle maintenance, tests, and interventions, documenting results and supporting customers with high-quality service. A relevant degree and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electricity, Electromechanics or Energy Technology.
• Experience with industrial electrical installations or power systems.
• Fluency in Dutch and French; ability to communicate in English.
• Willingness to travel to customers in Belgium and Luxembourg; valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and commissioning low- and medium-voltage installations and power circuit breakers.
• Working on heavy electrical systems (up to 36,000V and 600 A) and applying technical modifications to improve performance.
• Testing and inspecting switchgear to ensure safe operation.
• Preparing intervention, testing and maintenance reports and documenting protocols correctly.
• Supporting customers with reliable service while following strict safety procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in Electricity / Electromechanics / Energy Technology
