EY-Parthenon in Belgium is seeking an experienced Manager to lead Financial Due Diligence within Transactions & Corporate Finance. The role focuses on assessing target companies, identifying key drivers, and delivering with senior stakeholders across the deal cycle.

You will guide analysts, manage diligence workstreams, and contribute to client presentations while advancing your professional credentials. This position supports hybrid working with strong client interaction.

Qualifications

• Master degree and more than 5 years of working experience in Transactions
• Good accounting knowledge
• Team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• You have the necessary competencies to perform your job independently while using professional assertiveness
• Project management skills and excel spread-sheeting skills
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context.

Responsabilités

• Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses. Identifying issues that may be of relevance and for assessing the impact thereof on the transaction.

• Regular liaison with the target as well as the client at all levels.
• Working closely with members of the team, sharing responsibility for the project, providing support, and communicating all issues, conclusions, and the progress made.
• Gathering, verifying and analyzing information, and formulating views and conclusions, and driving this process.
• Participating in the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the client.
• Providing coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team and the department and draw upon previous experience.

EY Parthenon is growing and is looking for a (Senior) Manager Financial Due Dilligence.

The Transaction Diligence team aims to assist clients, both private equity firms and corporate clients, throughout the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction support is much broader, incorporating assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.

Your key responsibilities

As a manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
