PwC Belgium is seeking a Senior Associate in Advisory with a focus on operations within pharma, biotech or medical devices. You will help client teams optimize supply chains, manufacturing and quality processes, applying PwC methods and leading improvement projects.

Expect collaboration with international PwC teams and development of thought leadership in Pharma & Life Sciences. You will coach junior staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while delivering

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, engineering, business or science, or comparable by experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharma, Biotech or Medical Device industries.
• Experience implementing digital applications (MES, LIMS, ELN) or IT/OT in pharma is a plus.

Your impact

• Focusing on supply chain planning, distribution, logistics, manufacturing and/or quality processes in operations.
• Analysing issues and proactively solving them with your project team by using PwC best practices and benchmarks to improve processes and organizations.
• Utilising advanced technologies to address challenging issues.
• Being responsible for providing top-quality deliverables to clients.
• Playing a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
• Contributing to achieving our company’s commercial goals by helping Partners and Directors with business development initiatives.
• Collaborating with PwC’s international community and contributing to the development of thought leadership articles in the Pharma & Life Science segment.
• Managing & coaching junior people on and off the job.

About you

• Master’s degree in economics, (bio-)engineering, business administration, sciences or comparable by experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharma, Biotech or Medical Device industry.
• Experience with implementing digital applications (e.g., MES, LIMS, ELN, data platforms) or IT/OT i n a pharma environment is a plus.
• Experience with GMP and validation processes for digital applications is a plus.
• Experience with continuous improvement or operational excellence is a plus.
• Previous consulting experience is a plus.
• Ability to combine specialist technical knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with consulting skills (project management, presentation, and communication skills, etc.) while working directly with management and employees on the clients’ premises.
• A client-centric mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive mindset, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business.
• Remarkable listening and communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
• Experience in managing teams and developing people.
• Fluent in English, and Dutch and/or French.
• Flexibility to work in different environments and locations (travel abroad up to three days a week) and easily acquire new skills and expertise.
