Jacques Delors Friends of Europe Foundation seeks a Communications Executive to support the One Europe, One Market campaign. The role focuses on press engagement, social media management, and coordinating communications across FoE units.

Based in Brussels, the position offers an open-ended contract and a chance to influence pan-European policy narratives. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in communications or media relations, strong English, and experience with EU media.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, public affairs or media relations.
• Experience in European policy or institutional communications.
• Proven track record managing social media channels for a policy organisation, think tank, foundation or campaign.
• Strong writing and editorial skills; ability to simplify complex political or economic issues.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute media strategies for campaign events and maintain journalist outreach.
• Coordinate on-site press logistics and provide real-time media support during events.
• Build journalist databases covering EU and national outlets.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare post-event press reviews.
• Create key messages assets and ensure distribution to journalists ahead of key EU decisions.
• Collaborate with campaign and FoE teams to align communications calendar and materials.
