Wlgroup in Mons is seeking a GIS Engineer to design, build, and integrate data and services on the Esri platform. You will maintain dashboards, portals and viewers and support cross-functional teams in an enterprise Esri environment.

The role requires a BSc in geospatial disciplines and at least three years with ArcGIS Pro/Portal/Server, plus experience automating GIS workflows. Strong English and Python scripting are advantageous for collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• A BSc or equivalent in a geospatial discipline.
• At least three years of deep Esri enterprise experience: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Portal and its components, ArcGIS Server and advanced publishing.
• At least three years configuring and maintaining dashboards, viewers and story maps.
• Excellent vector data manipulation and data management across a complex multi-network, multi-user environment.
• Experience automating GIS workflows, and working in a Microsoft environment with shared data access.
• The independence to plan and execute assigned tasks within programme goals, priorities and constraints.
• Strong English, and the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Basic Python scripting and international military and civilian environment experience are welcome

Responsabilités

• Designing, developing and integrating data and services within the Esri platform and neighbouring systems.
• Integrating diverse data arriving from complex and disparate pathways, and registering authoritative data in an Esri based portal.
• Performing complex data visualisation and analysis on an enterprise Esri estate.
• Maintaining user facing GIS web tools: dashboards, portals and viewers.
• Geospatial data selection, analysis and publication, including complex analysis services.
• Preparing and running workshops, capturing requirements and monitoring the system.
• On the job training for users, and support to multidisciplinary technical and operational teams.
• Proposing improvements, agreeing them with your supervisor, then implementing them
