Jobat is seeking a skilled mechanical technician for a technical company with more than 20 years of experience in the production, maintenance and repair of industrial machines and steel structures. You revise and repair heavily loaded mechanical parts and work on bearing blocks of roller equipment.

You work independently according to technical work orders, document the performed activities, and ensure safety, diagnose faults, repair defects and mentor one or two colleagues as needed.

• You revise and repair heavily stressed mechanical components.
• You work, among other things, on bearing blocks of roller equipment.
• You assess wear and determine which repairs are needed.
• You polish, repair or overhaul parts completely.
• You work independently according to technical work orders.
• You document the performed work.
• You mentor one or two colleagues as needed and share your technical experience.
• Work safely.
• Diagnose and fix faults.

• Je reviseert en herstelt zwaar belaste mechanische onderdelen.
• Je werkt onder andere aan lagerblokken van walsenwerktuigen.
• Je beoordeelt slijtage en bepaalt welke herstelling nodig is.
• Je polijst, herstelt of reviseert onderdelen volledig.
• Je werkt zelfstandig volgens technische werkorders.
• Je documenteert de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden.
• Je begeleidt waar nodig één of twee collega's en deelt je technische ervaring.
