Cochlear in Belgium is seeking an Engineering Manager – Product Platform to lead multiple engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and ensure robustness, compliance, and future readiness of our product platforms.

You will partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Delivery teams to drive secure coding, CI/CD, and disciplined governance in a regulated medical device environment, balancing people leadership with technical direction.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading software teams in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Excellent technical English.
• Ability to build scalable leadership depth.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop Tech Leads and engineers, building leadership depth.
• Define and evolve the technical roadmap for product platform components.
• Ensure alignment across software, embedded, verification, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Promote secure coding, CI/CD, and automation.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and long-term capability planning.
