JAM is seeking an experienced freelance Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join a major industrial project in Antwerp, Belgium. The role focuses on supervising daily electrical and instrumentation installation activities on site and coordinating subcontractors, construction teams, and vendors.

You will ensure work aligns with drawings and project procedures, monitor progress and quality, support inspections and pre-commissioning, and promote a strong safety culture in line with HSE

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor on large EPC projects.
• Strong background in petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings and specs.
• Experience supervising electrical installations, instrumentation, cabling and containment.
• Knowledge of European electrical standards and industrial safety.

We are currently seeking an experienced freelance Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering a major industrial project in Antwerp, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily electrical and instrumentation installation activities on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, construction teams, and specialist vendors
• Ensure E&I works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project procedures
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality, and compliance with project milestones
• Review technical documentation, including electrical and instrumentation drawings
• Support inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and handover activities
• Work closely with construction management, engineering, and commissioning teams
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site HSE requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, or Instrumentation Supervisor
• Strong background delivering large-scale industrial construction projects
• Experience within petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, energy, or process environments
• Previous experience supervising electrical installations, instrumentation systems, cabling, containment, and equipment connections
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation
• Strong understanding of construction processes, quality requirements, and site coordination
• Experience managing subcontractors and working within multidisciplinary teams
• Experience working on major EPC projects
• Previous petrochemical or process plant construction experience
• Knowledge of European electrical standards and industrial safety requirements
• Pre-commissioning or commissioning experience
