Stellar Telecommunications is seeking a Director of Software Development in Bruges, Belgium. This hands-on leadership role owns architecture and technical execution of the STEER Suite, spanning edge devices to the management platform.

You will guide a senior, distributed team, define build, release and deployment strategies, and align with the CPTO on product-related topics. You'll drive agile delivery, mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and ensure high-quality engineering practices while

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with architecture/leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record leading a distributed international engineering team.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and full-stack software understanding.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve the software architecture for the STEER Suite across edge and management layers.
• Lead the engineering team, mentor engineers, and manage sprint cadence and backlog triage.
• Own technical standards, code quality, and technology decisions across projects.
• Collaborate with CPTO and cross-functional teams; hire and onboard new engineers.
• Maintain engineering documentation and oversee agile processes and handovers to field deployment.
