Astek is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Cloud & Infrastructure Community in Belgium, Brussels. You will enhance software delivery, automate infrastructure, and improve reliability across client projects with international reach.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and practices.
• Experience with automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with at least one major Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Good knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Astek and become part of our Cloud & Infrastructure Community. You will be involved in challenging IT projects for our clients, helping them improve their software delivery processes, automate infrastructure, and enhance the reliability and scalability of their applications. Within the Cloud & Infrastructure Community, you will collaborate with technical experts, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.

Your Challenges Will Be

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Support the implementation and evolution of Cloud environments. Manage and optimize infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Promote DevOps best practices within Agile teams.

Profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices.
• Experience with automation and deployment tools such as:
  • Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Terraform, Ansible
• Experience with at least one major Cloud platform:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform
• Good knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English required.
• French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
