Wlgroup seeks an experienced project manager to deliver cyber security capability within a defence programme in Belgium. You will develop statements of work for competitive bidding and manage milestones, reporting progress to senior stakeholders on a regular basis.

The role is full-time and on-site at Braine-l'Alleud from early October to the end of December 2026, requiring strong English, analytical skills and proficiency with MS Project, Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Recent project management experience in a large organisation, focused on delivering C4ISR capability in the defence sector.
• At least two years working directly with an alliance or national defence ministry delivering military, CIS or IT capability.
• A detailed understanding of the security investment programme framework used here.
• Significant recent experience writing statements of work for competitive bidding.
• A recognised project management qualification — PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, DAWIA Program Management Level II, Managing Successful Programmes, Risk Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
• Relevant cyber security certification such as Security+, CCSP or CISM.
• Strong English, at professional proficiency, and confident with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Manage the delivery of cyber security capability within a defence programme.
• Develop statements of work used as the basis for competitive bidding from industry, including the detailed collection of technical and non-technical requirements.
• Track and communicate project status and milestones, visualising them so the message lands.
• Work within the established investment programme framework for this environment.
• Brief stakeholders clearly, in writing and in the room.
