Editx is seeking an Experienced DataStage Developer to maintain and evolve a legacy data platform while supporting a shift to a cloud-based data ecosystem. You will ensure stability of DataStage solutions and contribute to migration initiatives toward Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms.

About this vacancy

As an Experienced DataStage Developer, you play a key role in maintaining and evolving a critical legacy data platform while supporting the organization's transition towards a modern cloud-based data ecosystem. You ensure the stability, performance, and continuity of existing DataStage solutions while contributing to migration initiatives towards Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms.

• Performing impact analyses and implementing small to medium-sized changes to the legacy data platform.
• Troubleshooting production issues and ensuring the reliability of data pipelines.
• Collaborating with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver ongoing improvements.
• Supporting the migration of data workloads from on-premises environments to Azure-based data platforms.
• Assisting in the redesign and modernization of data integration processes and architectures.
• Ensuring data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards are upheld.
• Documenting existing solutions, enhancements, and migration activities.
• Contributing to knowledge transfer and helping bridge the gap between legacy and cloud technologies.
