fortil is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to shape data analyses and data developments within a data-driven organization. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines using Azure technologies (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) and BI tools like Power BI.

Context

The organization is investing in a brand-new electric fleet, which brings new data sources with it. At the same time, it is evolving towards a data-driven organization.

To support both of these strategic objectives, additional resources are needed to shape data analyses and data developments.

The Data Platform and Data Warehouse are built on Microsoft Azure. Several reporting environments are used: PowerBI, Tableau and TM1. Practical experience with PowerBI is required for this role, and notions of Tableau are a strong added value.

Job Description

Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer, with databases, programming languages (Python, Java or Scala) for developing data flows and ETL processes, and designing/implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
