Global Commissioning is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee the design, installation and commissioning of critical IT infrastructure within data centre environments. You will direct on-site and off-site activities, guiding Project Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely delivery.

Responsibilities include leading commissioning workshops, writing plans and test scripts, reviewing owner requirements, and driving the completion of Level 4/5 commissioning phases with

Qualifications

• Prince 2 or equivalent certification desirable.
• Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications essential.
• CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder essential.
• HNC - Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services essential.
• BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the safe, timely, and efficient design, installation and commissioning of critical systems and IT infrastructure in data centre environments.
• Lead design, construction and acceptance activities, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors.
• Develop commissioning plans, checklists, test scripts and reports across all phases from design to handover.
• Coordinate handover training and ensure comprehensive Operations & Maintenance documentation.

Formation

Prince 2 or equivalent

Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications
