Google is seeking a Facilities Technician to support data center HVAC and mechanical systems in Belgium. You will inspect, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure, read schematics, and assist technicians with system tours and operations.

The role focuses on uptime, safety, and cost-efficient operation of pumps, chillers, and CRAC/CRAH units, with opportunities to contribute to projects and upgrades in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or related training.
• 5 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use safety PPE per guidelines.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems and components.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and sequences of operations for system tours.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of pumps, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
• Operate and monitor data center facilities and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment.
