SecWise is seeking a Data & AI Security Consultant to grow into a trusted advisor for clients. You will learn data security, compliance, and Microsoft technologies while collaborating with experienced consultants to deliver practical security solutions.

Responsibilities include helping customers improve data protection, implementing data governance, and participating in workshops and projects. Fluency in Dutch and English is expected; French is a plus.

At SecWise, we're looking for a Data & AI Security Consultant who is eager to grow into a trusted advisor for our clients. You don't need to be an expert yet. What matters most is your interest in data security, compliance, Microsoft technologies, and emerging AI solutions.

You'll work alongside experienced consultants who will coach and support you as you develop your technical and consulting skills.

What you'll do

As a Data & AI Security Consultant, you'll help organizations understand, protect, and govern their data in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Together with experienced colleagues, you will:

• Support customers in improving their data security and compliance posture
• Learn how to work with Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft security solutions
• Help implement data protection measures such as data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and information protection
• Assist in translating business needs into practical security solutions
• Participate in workshops, customer meetings, and project implementations
• Stay up to date with developments in Microsoft Security, Data Governance, and AI
• Grow your expertise through training, certifications, and hands-on experience

Your profile

We're looking for someone with the right mindset and ambition rather than years of experience.

You:

• Have a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Business IT, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Are interested in cybersecurity, data security, AI, governance, compliance, or Microsoft technologies
• Have a strong willingness to learn and grow into a consulting role
• Enjoy solving problems and thinking analytically
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers
• Take initiative and enjoy working in a team environment
• Speak Dutch and English fluently. French is a plus

Nice to have

Don't worry if you don't tick every box.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, or Compliance solutions
• Familiarity with concepts such as GDPR, information security, risk management, or data governance
• Interest in AI governance, responsible AI, and emerging technologies
• Any Microsoft certification or willingness to obtain one
