Uni Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the UniQue team. You will automate tasks, deploy and harden Linux/Windows/ESXi servers, and manage network devices while coordinating vulnerability management across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You’ll work with SOC, IT, dev, and cloud teams to implement secure architectures, develop documentation, and continually improve security postures through automation and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Requires; post-secondary education and 10+ years IT experience with 5+ relevant to the role.
• Deep expertise in Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi server admin and management.
• Strong programming and scripting for automation and secure software dev; Python, Bash, Java, Go or Rust assets.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, network protocols, crypto, auth, secure communication.
• Experience deploying cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP/OVH) with IaC and tools like Ansible/Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with vulnerability scanners (Rapid7 Nexpose, Nessus), SIEM (Splunk) and ticketing (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, vulnerability management methodologies; API integrations and messaging (Kafka, AWS SQS, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ).
• Ability to adapt to hybrid cloud, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and emerging threats.
• Capable of managing multiple large projects; certifications mandatory.
• English at C1; French and other EU languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Creation of custom internal scripts for automation, data analysis, and API integration to connect security platforms and infrastructure tools.
• Deployment, management, and hardening of servers on Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi.
• Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways).
• Prepare vulnerability assessment reports, remediation plans, dashboards, metrics and procedures.
• Manage vulnerability lifecycle from identification to remediation across on‑premises and cloud.
• Coordinate remediation with multiple teams to ensure timely patching and updates.
• Report progress, vulnerabilities, risk, threats, ticket trends, KPIs to peers and management.
• Interact with IT, development, cloud ops, SOC, compliance and external vendors for coordinated remediation.
• Design, orchestrate and deploy infrastructure/services to improve availability, scalability, latency and security data handling.
• Write documentation to communicate solutions to engineers and users.
• Solve mission‑critical service issues and automate responses to non‑exceptional conditions.
