Uni Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join the UniQue team in Belgium. You will design and implement security automation, deploy and harden multi‑platform infrastructure, and coordinate vulnerability management across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires deep expertise in Linux, Windows, VMware ESXi, networks, and cloud IaC, plus strong scripting and API integration skills. English at C1 is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-secondary education and 10+ years IT experience with 5+ related to this role
• Expertise in Linux, Windows, VMware ESXi administration
• Strong scripting for automation; Python, Bash, Java, Go, or Rust preferred
• Cloud deployments and IaC with AWS, Azure, GCP; IaC tools
• DevSecOps integration into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with security scanners (Nexpose, Nessus), SIEM (Splunk) and ticketing (ServiceNow, Jira)
• Knowledge of APIs, message brokers (Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ)

Responsabilités

• Create custom internal scripts for automation and API integrations
• Deploy, manage, and harden Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi servers
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs)
• Prepare vulnerability assessment reports, remediation plans, dashboards, metrics and procedures
• Manage vulnerability management lifecycle across on‑prem and cloud environments
• Coordinate remediation efforts across teams, ensuring timely patching and updates
