Groupe BPCE in Antwerp seeks a Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate credit applications for Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg clients, performing financial analysis and risk assessments. You will prepare recommendations, support the credit decision process, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance. You will grow toward seniority, contribute to AI initiatives, and report on risk matters within a multinational banking group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics with any financial topics training.
• At least 2 years of relevant credit risk analysis experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Interest in AI developments and experience with AI tools.
• Strong writing, organization and ability to meet deadlines.

Description du poste

• As Credit Risk Analyst you evaluate credit applications for small and large investment amounts from small and large Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg companies. You will perform financial analysis, estimate the structural risks of a transaction and make recommendations on the acceptability of credit requests.
• As Credit Risk Analyst you evaluate the KYC-AML risk of the Benelux customers. You perform the Customer Due Diligence and make recommendations about the acceptability of the customer.
• You submit proposals to the local / international credit committee and (in time) will decide on the acceptance of risks within your own credit decision authority.
• You have a broad scope of work, covering various types of equipment to be financed, various types of customers and various financing structures.
• Besides assessing risks, you will have the opportunity to participate in internal projects (also on Artificial Intelligence) and have some reporting duties.
• You will also work closely with other departments (mainly Sales, but also Customer Service and Finance).

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• You want to develop from a Medior Credit Risk Analyst profile towards a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. You have at least a bachelor's degree in an economic field, complemented by additional training in financial topics if possible. You already have at least 2 years of relevant Credit risk analysis experience in the financial sector.
• You have strong analytical skills with a sense of synthesis, an eye for detail and good writing skills. You are well organized, accurate and can handle deadlines.
• You are interested in Artificial Intelligence developments and have experience working with AI Tools, knowing that credit analysis in the future will develop itself in cooperation with AI tools.
• Good time management and email management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
• You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can also work independently.
