CreditPeople.eu in Belgium is seeking a Credit Controller responsible for monitoring customer credit, ensuring timely payments and maintaining healthy cash flow. You will collaborate with accounting, sales and customer service to resolve overdue invoices efficiently.

Requirements include a bachelor or master's in economics, 1–3 years in credit control, excellent communication, and accuracy. Dutch and French or English are advantageous; ERP/accounting software (SAP, Exact, Odoo, Navision) and

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in economics or equivalent by experience.
• 1–3 years of credit control, debiteurenbeheer or invordering.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Dutch and French and/or English advantageous; accurate and numerate.

Responsabilités

• Follow up and manage customer portfolios regarding outstanding receivables.
• Actively contact customers by phone, email, and registered letters.
• Analyze payment risks and credit limits.
• Prepare and send payment reminders and dunning letters.
• Negotiate repayment plans with customers.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service on invoice disputes.
• Refer files to collection agencies or bailiffs when needed.
• Report on open receivables, DSO and collection results.
• Identify improvement opportunities in the collection process.
• Keep customer files up to date in ERP/accounting system.
