European Youth Forum in Brussels is seeking a Communications Officer to join the Communications and Outreach Department. Focus areas include creative content writing, website management and media relations.

You will turn policy work into clear stories for diverse audiences and manage the organisation's online presence, working with EU-focused media and youth spokespeople. You will contribute to communications strategies, campaigns and creative projects, while coordinating with colleagues across

Qualifications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English (native-level proficiency).
• At least one year of relevant experience in content writing, media relations or communications.
• Experience within NGO, civil society, youth or related sectors.
• Experience using content management systems (CMS); Craft CMS is particularly welcome.
• Proven experience producing strong written content for external audiences.
• Experience with social media and creative tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar platforms.

Responsabilités

• Turn policy, advocacy and organisational work into clear, engaging communications.
• Create content for website articles, press releases, social media, videos and campaigns.
• Shape and maintain the organisation's tone of voice across communications.
• Manage the website and coordinate with external web agencies as needed.
• Develop communications strategies, campaigns and creative projects.
• Organise events, creative actions and meetings.
• Evaluate reach and impact of communications outputs to inform future priorities.
