UPS is seeking a driver for a 2-person team to pick up and deliver packages in the Newark, DE area. The role is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Thursday from 2:30 AM to 12:00 PM, four 10-hour days, with coverage for others as needed.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, following safety and operating procedures, and scanning airbills. Candidates must pass multiple background checks, TSA testing, and maintain a valid class D license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must pass credit and background checks including criminal history.
• Must complete TSA testing.
• Must have a valid class "D" driver's license (CDL not required).
• Clean driving record for last 3 years.
• Able to lift in excess of 70 lbs.
• Able to pass UPS badge and airport entry test.

We are currently seeking a driver for a 2-person team to pick up and deliver packages from local customer locations in the Newark, DE area.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload shipments for delivery.

• Knowledge of and abide by all safety, security, and operating procedures for pickup and delivery of customer packages and operating motor vehicles including remaining in compliance with all Federal, state, and local laws.

• Scan information on airbills and manifests.

Requirements:

• Verifiable / Proof of high school diploma, GED or higher education

• 7 years of verifiable employment

• 3-year clean driving record

• Applicants must be able to pass a credit check, 10 documented background check and criminal history check.

• Applicants must complete TSA testing.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

• Applicants must possess a valid class "D" driver's license (a CDL is NOT required).

• Applicants must have and maintain a clean and verifiable driving history,

• Applicants must be able to maintain MNX’s Driver Safety Standards.

• Applicants must be able to lift in excess of 70lbs.

• Applicants must be able to pass a UPS test and get badged to enter the OAK airport.

• Position requires the ability to communicate (write and speak) in English and the ability to provide general direction to others.

This position is Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday from 2:30 AM - 12:00 PM. The position is 4 days, 10 hours. You will also be expected to cover when the other drivers are on vacation or leave sick.
