Octave is seeking a Senior Software Developer for the Core-2D team in Ghent, Belgium. You will contribute to 2D workflows of BricsCAD, focusing on core CAD features, UI improvements, and test coverage in a collaborative, Agile environment.

The role requires strong C++ experience (min C++11), a solid math foundation, and fluent English. You’ll work across platforms (Linux/MacOS/Windows) with modern tools and a dynamic international team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional C++ development experience (min C++11).
• Strong foundation in mathematics (geometry, linear algebra).
• Clear communication and team collaboration.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to 2D capabilities of BricsCAD Core-2D.
• Develop and implement efficient software solutions meeting team goals.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and follow coding standards.
• Collaborate with leads and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and align on priorities.
• Participate in Agile planning, sprints, and reviews.
• Help improve the codebase and adopt new technologies.
