AluK Benelux in Hamme is seeking a finance professional to enhance their finance and operations team. Responsibilities include supporting the CFO, handling financial reporting, and participating in annual accounts. The ideal candidate has a finance background, proficiency in Dutch, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller preferably in a production environment.
• A bachelor or master in finance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Languages: Dutch is essential, English is important, French is a plus.

Responsabilités

We are currently looking to reinforce our Benelux finance and operations team in Hamme.

What will you do?

• Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Benelux finance department
• Assist the CFO and the managing director in operational matters
• Participate in periodic processes: monthly closing, quarterly reporting, annual accounts , group reporting
• Provide support to the accountant regarding legal reporting: VAT, intrastat, …
• Provide support on treasury related matters: cash management, factoring, bank account management and credit control
• Contribute to the FP&A process and business reviews on a quarterly basis
• Reporting to the CFO Benelux and dotted line to the Managing Director

What are the responsibilities?

BUSINESS CONTROLLING 60%

• Analysis of sales performance, order intake and average selling prices
• Prepare operational and production KPI’s
• Measure production performance and costing
• Challenge operational and employment costs
• Stock and stock rotation analysis

FINANCIAL CONTROLLING 30%

• Assist in the processing of balance sheet, income statements and other financial statements
• Contribute to finance related projects
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Preparation of narratives on monthly, quarterly and annual results

TREASURY 10%

• Assist in the weekly factoring process
• Cash forecasting preparation
• Bank reconciliations

What will you bring?

• Experience as a Controller preferably in a production environment
• A bachelor or master in finance
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Languages : Dutch is essential, English is important, French is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus (SAP4Hana)
• Attention to detail and analytical ability
• Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
