The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seekingundergraduate students for a paid, full-time internship to gain hands-on experience in construction. You will support project teams across bidding through final completion, with assignments on site and in the office.

You will perform quantity take-offs, layout, surveys, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs while coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. Housing may be provided in certain situations.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on practical experience in the construction field.
• Assists project teams in managing construction projects from bidding to final completion.
• Paid, full-time cooperative education position coordinated with your university or college.

Responsabilités

• Assist with quantity take-offs, layout, and surveys.
• Review shop drawings and project logs; maintain logs for submittals and RFIs.
• Support estimates, budgets, value engineering, and constructability surveys.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and assist with scheduling and safety practices.
• Assist with document revisions, cost control, and project closeout.
